Job Title: PowerApps / InfoPath Migration Engineer Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid) Employment: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to support a large-scale migration project involving the conversion of 50+ legacy SharePoint InfoPath forms into modern PowerApps solutions. The role requires hands-on contribution to PowerApps development, workflow modernization, and SharePoint Online enhancements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational Power Platform skills who is eager to grow in low-code/no-code development. Key Responsibilities Analyze existing InfoPath forms, structure, and dependencies. Assist in converting InfoPath forms into PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps). Update and maintain workflows using Power Automate . Work with SharePoint lists, libraries, permissions, and metadata . Collaborate with senior developers, business teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements. Support testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. Document migration processes, issues, and solutions. Deliver end-user training and post-migration support. Required Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge of PowerApps , Power Automate , and SharePoint Online . Understanding of InfoPath forms and their functionalities. Familiarity with SharePoint lists, libraries, workflows, and permissions. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly. Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills Experience with Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps . Exposure to Power BI for reporting and dashboards. Basic understanding of REST APIs , JSON , or PowerShell . Prior experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment . Familiarity with JIRA or ServiceNow for task/incident management. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SharePoint, Power Platform, or Microsoft 365 technologies. Soft Skills Strong verbal and written communication. Excellent documentation and presentation skills. Customer-focused mindset and professional service orientation. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic situations. Open-minded, adaptable, and quick learner. Flexibility to work across shifts if required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
