Visit our website at: Be among the first 25 applicants Job description PineStone Asset Management Inc. is looking for a Compliance Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, the Senior Compliance Counsellor will participate in the development and implementation of PineStone’s compliance policies and procedures in order to ensure the firm and its employees respect all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The selected candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the investment constraints of the funds and segregated mandates managed by PineStone. In particular, the candidate will: Participate in the development and oversight of compliance policies and procedures designed to respect applicable laws and regulations, industry standards, best practices and contractual obligations Maintain a watchful eye on all ongoing legislative and regulatory developments so as to analyze their impact on PineStone’s operations Participate in the onboarding of new clients and in the creation of new products/mandates Conducting testing and verification of the firm’s various compliance programs Be responsible for the pre-trade and post-trade verification of the investment constraints of the funds and segregated mandates managed by PineStone Ensure the verification of documents sent to clients, potential clients and consultants Be responsible for PineStone’s registration and continuous reporting obligations in accordance with Canadian, American and other jurisdictions regulatory requirements Participate in the training and coaching of analysts in the compliance team Work closely with the leaders and members of other departments to answer questions and complete projects to enhance operational effectiveness Perform other tasks as required for the role Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Law or another relevant degree Completion or enrollment in the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Partners, Directors, and Officers Course or the Chief Compliance Officers Qualifying Exam (CCO) a significant asset. Must be willing to undertake these courses in the first 6 months of employment Minimum 10 years of compliance experience in the asset management sector Knowledge of global equity strategies, a significant asset Experience in the research and analysis of regulatory requirements and practical application Leadership skills with a team-oriented and collaborative approach Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems Team player, able to work well with employees from all departments of the firm Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Bilingual (French/English) a significant asset What we offer Competitive compensation and benefits package A culture of collaboration and excellence A challenging work environment and the unique opportunity to join a growing firm Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Legal Industries Investment Management #J-18808-Ljbffr
