Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Overview We\'re growing fast — and we need someone who can keep up. PrePad is on a mission to make engineering workflows radically more efficient for completions teams. As our first QA hire, you’ll be the bridge between top-tier clients and our world-class engineering team. This is a full-time hybrid role — working from home and our downtown Calgary office to promote collaboration and team dynamics. The role is based in Calgary, AB. Must have current authorization to work in Canada. PrePad does not provide relocation or visa sponsorship. Do not apply if you require sponsorship. Responsibilities Perform end-to-end manual testing of the data integration platform, covering various functional areas and business scenarios. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate platform functionality and ensure adherence to business and technical requirements. Identify, log, and track defects and issues, and work closely with the development team to investigate and resolve them in a timely manner. Continuously assess and improve the manual testing process, methodologies, and techniques to optimize test coverage and effectiveness. Proactively identify areas within the testing process that can be automated, including test data generation, repetitive test cases, and regression testing. Participate in meetings with developers and project managers to discuss release scope and roadblocks. Help maintain, design, and execute our release management processes. Must Have Requirements 5+ years’ experience as a Senior QA Analyst or in a similar role. Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Experience in Agile development methodologies and working within Agile teams. Strong expertise in UI test automation frameworks and tools, such as Robot, Selenium, and Appium. Proficiency in API test automation frameworks and tools, such as Postman. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
