Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Honeywell Experion DCS Specialist to support MOC and Capital Projects for oil & gas facilities across Canada and the United States. This role involves hands‑on engineering, configuration, testing, commissioning, and client‑facing support. Key Responsibilities Design and engineer Honeywell Experion PKS systems and architectures Configure control strategies, alarms, interlocks, and shutdowns Develop Control Narratives, Functional Design Specifications (FDS), and Cause & Effect diagrams Perform advanced PID tuning and loop optimization Execute FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities Integrate Experion with SIS platforms (Honeywell Safety Manager, Triconex) Support MOC and Capital Project execution Maintain DEG’s ZERO LOSSES HSE commitment Technical Skills Required Honeywell Experion PKS Control Builder, Console Builder, and Engineering Station configuration Function Block and Sequential Control Module configuration Operator graphics development and navigation standards Experion Historian / PHD integration Process Control Startup, shutdown, and abnormal situation handling Integration & Communications OPC / OPC UA configuration Modbus TCP, Profibus, Profinet, HART FAT / SAT execution and documentation On‑site commissioning, loop checks, and shutdown testing Qualifications APEGA registration (or ability to obtain) 3+ years of Honeywell Experion experience in oil & gas Strong understanding of SIL, interlocks, and IEC 61511 Must be legally able and willing to travel to the United States #J-18808-Ljbffr
