Occasional travel to suppliers About the Role We are looking for a Senior Professional Engineer with expertise in Fly-by-Wire (FBW) and Secondary Flight Control Systems to support existing programs and contribute to future aerospace innovations. This role involves system integration, supplier coordination, and participation in certification activities. Key Responsibilities Integrate FBW and Secondary Flight Control systems on aircraft. Collaborate with suppliers on design concepts and philosophies. Perform and review feasibility analyses. Develop, validate, and verify technical requirements. Prepare and review test procedures; execute rig and aircraft testing. Support certification activities through test reports. Troubleshoot in-service issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with ARP4754 development process . Participate in trade-off studies and lifecycle cost analysis for future programs. Provide on-site support at final assembly lines, completion centers, and flight test facilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering . 7+ years aerospace experience. Direct involvement in definition and certification of FBW and/or Secondary Flight Control systems . Strong understanding of system integration and certification processes. Knowledge of Part 25 certification . Experience with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow ; familiarity with ADAMS and CATIA is an asset. Proficiency in MS Office and requirements management tools. Soft Skills Excellent communication in English (French is an asset). Strong technical writing skills. Organized, self-motivated, team player, customer-focused. Assurer la conformité au processus de développement ARP4754 . Participer aux études comparatives et analyses de coûts pour les futurs programmes. Fournir un support sur site aux lignes d'assemblage final, centres de finition et centres d'essais en vol. Qualifications Diplôme en génie mécanique ou aéronautique . 7+ ans d'expérience dans le domaine aéronautique. Participation directe à la définition et certification d'au moins un système FBW et/ou commandes de vol secondaires . Bonne compréhension de l'intégration et des processus de certification. Connaissance du processus de certification Part 25 . Expérience avec MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow ; connaissance d'ADAMS et CATIA est un atout. Maîtrise des outils MS Office et de gestion des exigences.
