Information Technology Security Specialist Type: Permanent full‑time position at a renowned public organization. Location: Hybrid, 2–3 days in the downtown Montreal office. Responsibilities: Contribute to IT security incident process design, implementation and monitoring. Enable protection of assets and access control to information technology systems (network security architecture, network access). Requirements: MS/BS degree in Computer Science or another relevant degree. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including absolute discretion in addressing IT security incidents. Knowledge of network technologies and computer systems administration in a large, networked environment. Experience in developing information security policies, vulnerability assessment, GRC‑driven security guidelines, and process improvements. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a structured teamwork environment. Advanced English communication skills, preferably with some French abilities. Certified security professional certification, such as SSCP, CISSP, GIAC.
