Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Copenhagen, Denmark We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer who knows their way around Storage, SAN, and SAN Zoning. If you’re someone who enjoys working with hardware, knows their way around a datacenter and understands how to keep infrastructure reliable and scalable, this is for you. About the job This role is focused on Storage. You’ll take ownership of SAN environments, zoning, and hardware integration while contributing to the rebuild of our Isolated Recovery Environment (IREP), making it faster, smarter, and more resilient. You’ll also support platforms like VDI and Dynamic Test Environments. We’re a tight-knit group of eight engineers with diverse backgrounds - hardware, OS, and scripting. We build full-stack solutions and aim for modern, automated infrastructure. We don’t spend much time on new hype, just practical engineering and collaboration to bring great value to the business. We build things that last. Our team is technical, direct, and focused on delivering infrastructure that supports Saxo’s global operations. You’ll be trusted to own your domain and encouraged to improve it. Responsibilites Design and manage SAN environments, including zoning and provisioning Server Infrastructure into the SAN Work with hardware interfaces using REST, iLO, and Redfish Support and evolve internal platforms Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate storage into workflows Your profile With over eight years of hands‑on experience in IT, you’ve built a strong foundation in physical infrastructure and storage systems. Your deep expertise in Storage, SAN, and SAN Zoning sets you apart, while your solid hardware knowledge, especially with HPE servers — ensures reliable and efficient solutions. You’re skilled in PowerShell at an intermediate level and have a proven track record in managing backup systems and recovery environments to safeguard critical data. On top of that, you bring bonus capabilities in modern development tools such as Git, VS Code, and Azure DevOps Pipelines, adding versatility to your technical profile. Your combination of infrastructure mastery and adaptability makes you a valuable asset for any team looking to optimise performance and embrace innovation.
