Retail Cashier & Inventory Assistant (Part-Time)

Bollivapes is looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and customer-focused Part-Time Retail Associate to join our team.

The role involves customer service, sales, inventory, order fulfillment, store upkeep, and social media content creation. Employees will often work independently, so we are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable solving problems, and able to complete responsibilities without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable product recommendations
• Learn our product selection and stay familiar with new products and industry trends
• Operate the POS system, process payments accurately, and complete opening/closing procedures
• Restock and organize products, displays, and shelves
• Count and verify inventory and report low-stock items or discrepancies
• Receive, unpack, verify, and organize incoming shipments
• Prepare and fulfill Uber/Skip and other incoming orders accurately and on time
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries through text and Instagram
• Create regular social media content, including product photos, short videos, features, and announcements
• Help brainstorm promotions and social media content ideas
• Keep the store, displays, counters, and back-of-house areas clean and organized
• Complete routine cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing, garbage removal, and breaking down cardboard
• Identify and complete tasks that need attention during quieter periods
• Follow store policies, age-verification requirements, and applicable regulations
• Communicate problems, inventory issues, customer concerns, or other important matters to management

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or relevant work experience
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to prioritize tasks and solve routine problems without constant direction
• Organized and detail-oriented, particularly when handling inventory, orders, and payments
• Comfortable creating photos and short-form video content with a smartphone
• Able to work both opening and closing shifts
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Previous vape, smoke shop, or specialty retail experience
• Knowledge of vape devices, disposables, coils, e-liquids, and related products
• Experience with inventory management or stock counting
• Experience creating Instagram Reels, TikToks, or other short-form content
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, photography, video editing, or graphic design

Schedule

This is a part-time, in-person position with a combination of opening and closing shifts.

Opening: approximately 8:30 AM–4:00 PM

Closing: approximately 4:00 PM–11:30 PM

Applicants should have flexibility to work both opening and closing shifts as needed.

Pay

From $18.25 per hour
