Here’s how you help us continue our story… We are looking for a Test Automation Developer, Networks, to join our SQA team. The Test Automation Developer, Networks, will be responsible for designing, implementing, and converting tests to run in an automated environment to reduce regression times and increase test coverage ensuring the highest levels of quality and functionality in our products. As a key member of our SQA team, you will: Develop, maintain, convert, and execute automated test cases to support the verification of Dejero products’ functional, technical, and performance specifications at the software, firmware, and system level. Participate and collaborate in design sessions with SQA and Developers to design and build a robust and expandable test automation framework for our Connectivity products. Work in collaboration with development, project management, and R&D functional teams to create automation to support our product lines’ verification efforts throughout the product development life cycle. Provide input and guidance to the evaluation, implementation, and expansion of automated test tools and testing architecture in order to continuously advance automation rates, reduce regression failures, and reduce regression times. Contribute to the design, implementation, and validation of software automation fixtures for automated verification testing. Develop and maintain verification tools to supplement manual efforts in verification processes and reporting, as well as system installation and configuration activities. Test planning and estimation activities to ensure testing timelines and coverage align with project timelines. Execution and reporting of tests to ensure that all processes and documents are in accordance with Dejero’s quality systems and regulatory standards. Skills and experience required: Experience with test automation using Python or similar languages is required Proven experience with the configuration, management and implementation of test automation frameworks (pytest, Selenium etc.). 3+ years of experience with software quality, via development and testing, and automation experience in hardware and software environments. Hands‑on experience with distributed systems that include software, custom hardware, web systems and, cloud‑based infrastructure Experience developing automated tests which span hardware, embedded software, user interfaces and cloud‑based infrastructure. Experience in configuring CI tools / (Jenkins, / GitHub Actions). Experience with building, maintaining and managing Docker containers. Strong understanding of Networking protocols and concepts. High comfort level working within a Linux environment. Familiarity with Requirements Management, Test case Management, and Defect Tracking Tools Working knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and practical familiarity with commonly used AI tools and workflows. Clear application of critical thinking, problem solving, investigation, and decision‑making methodologies Passion for delivering high‑quality software on schedule per Agile workflows Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or a related field Bonus points if you have experience with: Experience with wireless network technologies (cellular, satellite, or WiFi) Deep understanding of Linux system setup, networking technologies and communication protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSockets) Hands‑on experience with Linux IP tables, routing, VPNs, and network monitoring tools, as well as with networking hardware setup Salary Range : the salary range for this role is $70,000 - $110,000 CAD This is an immediate opening, which we are actively reviewing and interviewing applicants for.
