Cultural Interpretation Services for Our Communities (CISOC) is a leading organization providing interpretation and translation services in Ottawa and nationwide. With a team of over 160 professional interpreters and translators proficient in more than 60 languages and dialects, CISOC is dedicated to meeting the diverse interpretation needs of newcomers, refugees, and visitors across various sectors such as healthcare, legal, education, and the wider community. As a voluntary board member, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and growth of CISOC. The board convenes six times a year and holds an Annual General Meeting in June. In addition to regular board meetings, board members may be asked to participate in subcommittees to support CISOC and contribute to special initiatives. By joining CISOC's Board of Directors, you will be committed to service, diversity, and inclusion. Qualifications We welcome applications from candidates who reside in Ontario, are CPA qualified, are knowledgeable about non‑profit governance, and have expertise in one or more of the following fields: Financial management Communication and social media Organizational Management Application Process and Deadline To apply, interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter to our hiring committee at .
