We’re looking for dedicated farm generalists who have or are looking build a specialty within an 800 cow/calf, 30,000 acre pasture, 5000 acre farm.Job Title: Farm GeneralistLocation: Grant RanchJob Type: Full-time, hourlyKey Responsibilities:The successful employee will enjoy completing a variety of critical tasks:Field operations: seeding, spraying, pasture cutting, baling, land rolling and rock picking, bale hauling, trucking, combining.Livestock care: winter feeding with pull type mixer wagon, bale shredder, bale deck truck, cattle handling during branding, vaccinations.Maintenance: regular equipment service, livestock facilities: fences, corals, feedlot.Requirements:Valid Class 5 drivers license, Class 1 or desire to attain an asset.Previous ranch or farm experience preferredAbility to perform physical labor in all weather conditionsAbility to work independently, self managing.Experience with livestock and basic mechanical skillsEnjoys flexible hours, weekends during busy seasons, early mornings, evenings.What We Offer:Competitive payHousingOpportunity to learn and grow.Potential to find your specialty and create a role within Grant Ranch.Beautiful country - Grasslands National park is on our doorstep We are part of a Dark Sky Preserve.Safe, remote, small community.To apply, please send your resume and a brief description of your experience to us and be a part of something special
