Job Title: Subject Matter Expert – Early Childhood Education (ECE) Location: Remote (Manitoba-based Only) Company: Campus Support, Primacorp Ventures Inc. Job Type: Part-Time, Contract Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience About the Role Campus Support is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) to support curriculum development for post‑secondary programs. This role is ideal for a Certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE III) with strong knowledge of Manitoba’s Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) system , experience in curriculum development, and a passion for preparing future ECE professionals. As an SME, you will collaborate with our academic team to develop and review curriculum materials that align with Manitoba ELCC legislation, regulations, and curriculum frameworks, as well as the standards of the Manitoba Ministry of Advanced Education and Training, ensuring relevance to current sector practices and workforce needs.

Areas of Expertise Early Childhood Education Key Responsibilities Develop or review curriculum materials including program outline, course outlines Ensure curriculum alignment with: Manitoba’s Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) regulatory framework The Community Child Care Standards Act and related regulations The Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care Curriculum Framework Manitoba Ministry of Advanced Education and Training requirements Provide subject matter expertise on current ECE practices, pedagogy, inclusion, and regulatory compliance. Advise on sector trends, workforce competencies, and professional standards relevant to Manitoba ECE programs. Collaborate with academic and instructional design teams to support student success and program quality.

Qualifications

Education & Professional Standing Certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE III) in good standing with the Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Registry. A diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field from a recognized post‑secondary institution.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the ECE field (childcare, early learning centres, or teaching at the post‑secondary level). Previous experience in curriculum development or instructional design is a strong asset.

& Attributes Strong understanding of Ontario’s pedagogy for early learning and current trends in early childhood education Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to meet deadlines Collaborative, responsive, and open to feedback Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle) Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with fashion‑related software.

Experience
