Position Role : OneStream Techno‑Functional Consultant Experience : 15‑20 years Primary Skills : VB.NET, C# Additional Skills : CPM, OneStream Relocation : Yes Working hours : 40 hours Remote/Hybrid/Onsite : Remote About the Role You will serve as the primary architect and implementer of the OneStream® CPM platform, bridging the gap between complex financial requirements and technical system configuration. The role requires a mix of financial, technical, and customer‑centric skills to design, develop and maintain robust OneStream solutions. Core Responsibilities Lead discovery workshops to translate financial business requirements (Close, Consolidation, FP&A, Sales Ops) into a scalable OneStream technical design. Architect the Cube and Dimension structures, utilizing Extensible Dimensionality to support both corporate‑level reporting and granular business‑unit requirements. Design end‑to‑end Workflows , ensuring a seamless user experience for data collection and certification. Technical Development & Implementation Write, debug, and optimize VB.NET Business Rules for complex financial logic (e.g., Cash Flow, Intercompany Eliminations, Custom Translations). Configure OneStream Stage for ETL processes, including complex data connectors, SQL transformations, and derivative mapping. Build sophisticated Dashboards and Cube Views using parameters and formatting strings to provide “at‑a‑glance” insights for executives. Financial Logic & Compliance Ensure the system adheres to GAAP and IFRS standards for financial consolidation and reporting. Implement marketplace solutions (e.g., Account Reconciliations, People Planning, or Lease Accounting ) and customize them to fit specific business needs. Lead the validation of financial data to ensure “one version of the truth” between legacy ERP and OneStream. Act as the technical lead during UAT, quickly resolving bugs and adjusting logic based on user feedback. Provide “Knowledge Transfer” to client admins, teaching both functional how‑to and technical why behind system configuration. Required Qualifications Functional Excellence Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, MBA, or CMA preferred). Domain Knowledge : Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Financial Close & Consolidation or FP&A. Communication : Ability to explain technical constraints to finance stakeholders and financial needs to IT teams. Technical Excellence Programming : Proficiency in VB.NET or C# (specifically within the OneStream Business Rule framework). Data Management : Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and performance tuning. Platform Experience : Hands‑on experience with the OneStream Marketplace and Metadata management. EPM/CPM Background : Prior experience with legacy systems (Hyperion HFM/Planning, Tagetik, or Anaplan) is a significant plus.
