Support Analyst

Job Title: Systems Support Analyst

Location: Aylmer, Ontario, Canada

Contract.

Our client is looking for a Systems Support Analyst to join their team. This person will be providing technical support and training services for end users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer technical support by diagnosing and resolving client issues with hardware, software, and peripherals. Guide clients on corrective measures and escalate system-wide issues to senior personnel.
• Provide hardware support by configuring desktops, laptops, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.), and ensure devices are properly networked.
• Install and maintain software such as antivirus programs, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
• Assist with network support by configuring network servers, managing shared resources, maintaining backup systems, and supporting local area networks (LAN).
• Advise clients on optimizing system performance and conduct IT training sessions to enhance end-user proficiency.
• Develop and document IT procedures and standards to ensure consistency and compliance with established protocols.
• Offer technical support for electronic card lock systems, troubleshoot issues, and prepare photo cards for users.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong understanding of computer technologies, operating systems, and LAN procedures.
• Experience in hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with electronic card lock systems and related software.
• Ability to develop and deliver IT training tailored to various competency levels.
• Organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
