Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing the calibration and maintenance of equipment. This role is critical in ensuring that all equipment used in our processes is maintained to the highest standards, compliant with regulatory requirements, and operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Management:

  - Coordinate and oversee all aspects of equipment calibration and maintenance projects.

  - Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.


2. Equipment Maintenance:

  - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.

  - Schedule and conduct regular inspections, calibrations, and repairs.

  - Ensure all equipment is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.


3. Documentation and Compliance:

  - Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and calibration activities.

  - Prepare and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.

  - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.


4. Vendor Management:

  - Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers to coordinate maintenance and calibration services.

  - Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, cost, and reliability.


5. Continuous Improvement:

  - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

  - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in equipment maintenance and calibration techniques.


6. Team Collaboration:

  - Train and mentor junior staff on equipment maintenance protocols and best practices.

  - Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment calibration and maintenance within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- In-depth knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and industry standards related to equipment maintenance.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.


Preferred Qualifications:


- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).

- Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

- Hands-on experience with a variety of laboratory and manufacturing equipment.
