Job Overview

Candy Funhouse is looking for a skilled Videographer and Editor who can bring our creative vision to life through recording, editing and post-production. As a Videographer and Editor, you will be responsible for taking quality videos, quality angles, assembling raw footage, enhancing visual elements, adding special effects, and ensuring the overall quality and aesthetic appeal of our videos. This position requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in video editing software, and a passion for storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
• Editing: Edit and create work which is visually appealing, engaging, unique and high quality for Youtube and Social Media (TikTok, Instagram, etc)
• Video Production: Ensure consistency in video quality, lighting, and sound across all projects. Edit and enhance video footage using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.). Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design to enhance video content.
• Social Media Adaptation: Create video content optimized for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Photography Production: Capture high-quality images for marketing, social media, events, and branding purposes.
• File Organization & Delivery: Manage and organize digital assets, ensuring proper storage and timely delivery to the team.
• Storytelling & Branding: Ensure all video content aligns with brand identity, messaging, and marketing goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience of 3-5+ years.
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of edited videos for YouTube and social media content.
• Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Candidates must have knowledge of camera operations for still photos and video and of lighting and composition.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking feedback and incorporating it into the editing process.
• Willingness to learn and take on challenging tasks.

Please note:   This is a full-time position, and there will be no work-from-home option.
