Hydro One is seeking a Vice President, SAP & Enterprise Applications to lead the organization’s enterprise applications strategy and delivery, with a primary focus on overseeing a transformative SAP transition from ECC to S/4HANA in the cloud. Reporting to the EVP, Digital and Technology Solutions, the Vice President, SAP & Enterprise Applications provides strategic leadership for technology initiatives, delivered through a business-oriented lens. This role will be instrumental in shaping the organization’s long-term enterprise strategy. In the first 24 months, the Vice President will play a critical role in successfully leading the organization through its SAP transformation, migrating from ECC to S/4HANA. Responsibilities Lead the organization’s enterprise applications strategy and delivery, with a primary focus on overseeing a transformative SAP transition from ECC to S/4HANA in the cloud. Shape the organization’s long‑term enterprise strategy, delivering technology initiatives through a business‑oriented lens. Engage directly with the Board, senior leadership, and key business stakeholders, ensuring enterprise applications are governed effectively and contribute to Hydro One’s broader strategic goals. Provide strategic leadership, overseeing project governance, risk management, and change management frameworks for the ERP transformation. Foster cross‑functional collaboration, secure buy‑in across the organization, and ensure seamless adoption of new technologies while maintaining operational stability. Serve as a key member of the technology leadership team, influencing enterprise applications to support the company’s digital transformation initiatives. Qualifications At least a decade of leadership experience in enterprise applications, with a proven track record of guiding organizations through SAP modernization and managing internal teams and external partners. Deep expertise in SAP, including hands‑on experience with ECC and S/4HANA cloud implementations. Experience in a regulated industry, particularly within utilities or large‑scale infrastructure organizations, is an asset. Strong business acumen and understanding of the evolving ERP landscape, including AI‑driven automation and cloud‑based platforms. Demonstrated ability to drive cost‑effective, high‑impact solutions that align with strategic business goals. Applications are encouraged immediately and should be submitted online.
