In this role, you will oversee students during digital assessments by verifying identities, managing technical issues, and ensuring compliance with academic policies. Your work will directly impact the quality of assessments at UBC, making it crucial that you can handle responsibilities with sound judgment. Regular shifts will be assigned based on course needs and your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise exam sessions and monitor for misconduct
• Support students with ORCA technical difficulties
• Ensure cleanliness in testing facilities
• Report any irregularities to the ORCA Manager
• Assist with beta-testing and feedback on materials
Requirements:
• Enrollment as a UBC undergraduate or graduate student
• Commitment to respect diverse perspectives
• Reliable transport to campus in under 1.5 hours
• Availability for shifts during operational hours
• Proficient in making clear announcements in English
Ensure a secure testing atmosphere at UBC through your role as an invigilator.
