Salmon Arm healthcare service begins with clean facilities and sanitary patient areas. Interior Health is hiring casual Environmental Service Workers at Shuswap Lake General Hospital.
This position performs housekeeping throughout the facility, supporting patient, resident, and client rooms. You will also clean washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and shared areas. Casual work may range from zero to 37.5 hours weekly, depending on need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean patient rooms and resident rooms throughout the facility
- Maintain sanitary conditions in client rooms
- Perform housekeeping in washrooms and corridors
- Clean hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas
- Support clean conditions for staff, visitors, and patients
Requirements:
- Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Reliable and flexible work approach
- Motivation to perform facility housekeeping duties
- Ability to work rotating shifts across listed schedules
- Understanding of casual, as-needed employment hours
