We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies and optimize the mobility of people and goods. Responsibilities Function as a civil designer on various infrastructure projects, focusing on detail design for municipal/linear infrastructure projects Prepare preliminary and detail design covering all facets of civil engineering Coordinate with CAD standards group to maintain standards Coordinate design with other design disciplines Assist junior and intermediate designers with design and software questions Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Technology with a focus on Transportation or Municipal 7+ years of technical and business development experience in road design, municipal and civil engineering, and transportation planning Experience managing small projects and studies is welcome Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required; additional skills beneficial Knowledge of municipal geometric design standards and GIS is beneficial Collaborative attitude when working with other members of a road and transportation team Able to work independently with direction and supervision as needed based on assignment complexity Salary The salary range for this position is $89,600 - $134,400. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position; actual salaries will vary based on location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
