Summary:

The Mighty Studio is looking for a talented and motivated Photography & Content Creation Intern for the summer. This role is perfect for an aspiring professional photographer and social media lover with strong technical skills in Sony cameras and Capture One, along with a keen eye for creating engaging video and social media content. The intern will gain hands-on experience in professional photography, content production, and brand storytelling while contributing to our creative projects both remotely and in our Toronto studio.

Requirements:

  • Strong photography skills with experience shooting in various environments.
  • Proficiency with Sony camera systems and Capture One software.
  • Ability to shoot and edit short-form video content for social media, including Instagram Reels.
  • Familiarity with social media trends and engagement strategies.
  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or other editing software is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in studio and on-location photoshoots.
  • Edit and retouch images for professional presentation.
  • Capture and edit short-form video content for social media.
  • Develop creative ideas for photo and video storytelling aligned with The Mighty Studio's brand.
  • Assist with social media management, including scheduling and posting content.
  • Collaborate on creative marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide general studio assistance as needed.

  • Mentorship on photography techniques, editing, and business aspects of a photography studio.
