Position: Drilling Supervisor - Offshore / Deep Drilling

Location: Kuwait

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering (or related field)

Experience: 10+ yrs

Job Profile :

  • Different BOP stack's (5K, 10K/ CAMERON, SHEFER/ RONGSHENG)
  • managing well kick while drilling, tripping.
  • managing stuck pipe operations for drilling and fishing for old WO wells.

· Experienced in HTHP, underbalanced, sour, managed pressure & extended reach horizontal drilling.

· Responsible for all onsite operations on drilling & workover locations: ensuring well site operations are conducted

according to company policies, filing daily wellsite reports, preparing well specific procedures, KPI tracking, action

planning, look ahead schedules & the sole focal point on location for field based drilling activity.

· Experienced drilling wells safely & with minimal downtime from surface to completion using water based mud,

polymer mud & oil based mud. Starting with 36" bits & finishing horizontal sections open or with 5" liners to a final

length of +/- 5,400m. Responsible for preparing BHA's, running casing, cementing, installation of well head sections,

landing completion strings, logging, perforating, acidization, fracturing & testing wells.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
  • 10 + years of experience in drilling operations within the oil & gas industry.
  • Proficiency in drilling software (e.g., Landmark, WellArchitect, Compass, or similar).
  • Knowledge of drilling fluids, casing design, wellbore stability, and hydraulics .
