Senior DevOps Engineer – AWS (Remote) Remote position aligned with Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones. Full‑time, 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Salary CA$76,000 – CA$139,000 annually (actual compensation based on skills and experience). Full‑time position; no deadline—evergreen opening. What you’ll be doing Collaborating with development teams to design, implement, and optimize highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on AWS. Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible and Terraform. Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline deployment processes. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing AWS infrastructure and services to ensure maximum performance and reliability. Ensuring compliance with security best practices and implementing robust access controls using IAM, KMS, and other AWS security services. Creating and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) with CloudFormation or Terraform for consistent and reproducible deployments. Driving continuous improvement by automating processes, implementing new tools, and refining workflows to enhance operational efficiency. What we’re looking for Strong background in Linux administration and experience managing large‑scale systems. More than 6 years of designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS infrastructure (API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lambda, IAM, KMS, CloudFormation). Hands‑on experience with automation and configuration management using Ansible or Terraform. Proficiency in Git (GitHub) for version control. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar). Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Preferred AWS certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect. Benefits Flexible working hours in a remote environment.
