Together, we bring our purpose to life by living our values and putting people first. The Direct Sales Centre Rep. is responsible for the sales and service of a growing book of P&C Insurance clients. Use your P&C insurance knowledge to focus on sales and growing a book of business. You will also provide service in order retain business and help grow the book through referrals. This position focuses on personal lines, small farm and small package commercial insurance risks. What you will be doing: Sales and Marketing: Handle inbound calls and leads for home, auto and small business insurance quotes and inquiries. Complete risk assessments over the phone and obtain the appropriate information to complete accurate insurance quotes. Request referrals from existing clients to help grow the book of business. Promote the company brand and services/products offered to customers. Utilize Heartland’s industry leading technology to efficiently distribute our insurance product offerings. Working within defined limits of authority, consistently provide high quality decisions that support the achievement of Heartland’s financial targets in accordance with the Operational Plan. Manage a renewal portfolio of assigned clients and coordinating the discussion of renewal strategy with underwriting. Review renewals, endorsements, cancellations, payment notices ensuring accurate processing of policy documentation. Complete building evaluations using either RCT, Douglas Cost Guide, CoreLogic Accurately maintain and update client database as required. Providing exceptional and prompt service to clients, Advisors and Underwriters. Demonstrate Heartland’s value proposition of exemplary customer experience through the ongoing development of relationships with key stakeholders: What you will bring: Completion of OSSD. Post-secondary education preferred. Excellent organization and communication skills. 2+ years of P&C insurance experience is preferred. Must have an OTL agent license or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (assistance provided).
