Dock Supervisor

We are currently looking to hire Afternoon Dock Supervisor who will be responsible for the planning, dispatching and managing of the local pickups and deliveries. The candidate will have industry experience, preferably within a unionized environment.

Shift Hours will be:_ *12:00 p.m. to 08:30 p.m.*_

*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and direct a cross dock operation
* Dispatch / Manage inbound operations
* Communicate professionally with Internal / External customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
* Assure compliance with TDG / Hours of Service regulations
* Data entry and daily report completion

*Qualifications include:*
* Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a transportation dispatch environment
* Strong leadership and management skills
* The ability to analyze and problem solve in a fast pace environment
* Customer service oriented
* Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
* Professional verbal and written communication skills in English
* Ability to work flexible hours as necessary
* Computer literate with sound knowledge of Gmail and Excel
* Knowledge of Transportation Operating Systems
