What we offer Hourly pay starting at CAD45 /hr, plus overtime after 44 hours Vacation, benefits, and an RRSP matching program Annual AIM tuition scholarship program up to $8,500 per eligible dependent The tools and support needed to be successful in your career and professional development A dynamic, rewarding work environment that is also a lot of fun What you're responsible for Supervise and mentor a team of licensed 421A mechanics, apprentices, and experienced technicians Oversee daily repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for a wide range of heavy equipment Diagnose repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems with efficiency and accuracy Conduct inspections and implement preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime Support task scheduling, work prioritization, and planning in collaboration with the Maintenance Team and Operations Team Lead Monthly Shop Supervisor Safety Inspections and promote a culture of safety‑first Utilize CMMS (Maximo) for work order management, reporting, and maintenance tracking Organize and maintain the shop environment, including tools, inventory, and parts Provide clear direction and delegate tasks effectively to maximize team productivity Qualifications Valid 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification (an asset) Proven supervisory experience in heavy equipment maintenance Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams Proactive problem‑solving approach with a focus on continuous improvement Physically fit and comfortable working in demanding, outdoor industrial environments Previous experience with CMMS systems (an asset) Refererrals increase your chances of interviewing at American Iron & Metal (AIM) by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
