Our network serves patients across the full spectrum of care, from primary to tertiary and quaternary services, focusing on patient-centered care and advanced imaging. Qualifications Registration and good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario. Recent CT experience an asset. CPR or BCLS certification mandatory. Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal/written), and organization skills. Demonstrates ability to handle stress and conflict management in a professional, effective manner. Ability to work effectively and accurately, both autonomously and as an effective team member. Eager to learn new techniques. Completion of cross sectional anatomy course an asset. Completion of contrast injection course an asset. Commitment to meet the goals and objectives of the department. Ability to organize work, set priorities, and manage time effectively. Flexible, punctual with an excellent attendance record. Ability to work all shifts. Duties & Responsibilities Meet education standards with required knowledge, skills, and judgment to perform competently and professionally as a Medical Radiation Technologist. Ensure care is safe, appropriate, tailored, timely, and maximizes equipment and resources. Respect patient rights and foster an environment encouraging patient involvement in care, treating all patients with dignity, equity and respect. Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and improvement programs. Organize, prioritize, and coordinate scheduling of procedures, communicating professionally with all hospital areas. Operate under current Ministry of Health guidelines regarding radiation safety. Adhere to the standards of practice and code of ethics outlined by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and ALARA Principle. Educate patient, provider, and public on imaging and therapy benefits and risks. Provide optimum patient care and demonstrate professional manner in the work setting. Actively participate in team building and departmental goal development. Operate and maintain equipment via participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests. Teach and train students and hospital employees, communicating with Clinical Coordinator on student progress. Assist and educate patients before, during, and after procedures. Assist nurses/radiologists with patient and room preparation and clean‑up. Gather and code requisitions, maintain records and data entry, manipulate, archive, and store medical images. Perform Computed Tomography procedures to produce high‑quality diagnostic radiographs, adhering to radiation safety and aseptic technique.
