The End-to-End Tech Lead will be responsible for effective software development activities for Canadian P&BB Technology. The tech lead will work with technology project managers, developers, business analysts, solution architects, engineering/architecture teams, testing teams, vendors, business teams and delivery teams from various groups within and outside the bank. The position requires a self‑starter with strong development, integration, critical thinking, and leadership skills with proven experience delivering complex technology projects. Responsibilities Responsible for end‑to‑end system design and integration for Canadian P&BB Technology Lead large initiatives with multichannel, multiplatform, multivendor platforms Liaise with third‑party vendors to ensure practical and feasible integration of third‑party products and existing applications and systems given underlying technologies Support Tech PM for planning tech deliverables and highlighting dependencies Coordinate with assigned BAs to raise any cross‑project impacts during the requirements phase Coordinate development across all impacted platforms and applications, including development related to any change requests Assist during functional, UAT, performance, penetration triage to resolve defects and findings Participate in application releases (DEV, QA, PERF, and PROD) and provide technical guidance Responsible for creation and oversight of project documentation and other artifacts related to technical designs Lead process and application improvement opportunities to improve reliability and extensibility and overall SLA Provide coaching and guidance to team members or act as a team/project lead to foster professional development Qualifications Knowledge: University degree/college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 7+ years software development experience 3+ years experience leading technology teams with varied platforms Expert knowledge of design and analysis methodology and application development processes Expert understanding of SDLC (including DevOps, Agile), QA requirements, release procedures with a strong focus on automation Expert understanding of relevant and emerging technologies and industry directions Skills: Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills for complex problem solving, multitasking Strong technical leadership, organization, and relationship management skills Several years of proven success as a technical team leader Ability to adapt and quickly develop in‑depth technical understanding of new/different applications and technology platforms Experience working effectively with different technology and business teams Solid communication skills, both written and verbal Expert understanding of technologies: channel, web services (SOAP and REST), SQL, batch file processing Expert knowledge in system integrations and data mapping Demonstrates solid leadership skills and works independently Solid understanding of security frameworks and protocols such as PKI, mutual SSL, OAuth, etc. Expert working experience of at least one programming language Interview Process If your profile meets 90% of the above requirements, please apply on the medium you are seeing this posting on, and also send your resume in Word format to (email protected) .
