Overview QE Tester for Risk IT (contract) role at Capgemini. Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test strategies supporting enterprise Risk IT applications. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Robo Framework for UI automation. Develop and execute medium to complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation. Apply Python programming for test scripting, data validation, and automation tasks. Use q-Test for test case management and execution. Leverage GitHub Actions to integrate QE workflows into CI/CD pipelines. Utilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate test script development and AI-assisted QE tasks. Track, document, and manage issues using JIRA and maintain knowledge bases with Confluence. Collaborate with development and product teams to define test requirements and deliverables. Apply critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills to enhance overall QE strategy. Promote and enforce QE best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Technical Profile Strong hands-on experience with Python programming. Expertise in Robo Framework for UI automation. Proficiency in SQL for medium to complex data validation queries. Experience with q-Test for test management. Knowledge of GitHub Actions for CI/CD integrations. Exposure to GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted QE. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project collaboration and documentation. Understanding of QE best practices and methodologies. Functional Profile Ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, and business teams. Strong analytical mindset with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Adaptability to hybrid work arrangements and structured processes. Knowledge of financial services or audit processes (preferred, not mandatory). Certification in ISTQB (optional, good to have).
