DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The GI Pricing and Profitability team is expanding, and many new positions are now available Our team is crucial in maintaining the company's financial health and competitive edge. POSITION OVERVIEW Multiple Manager positions are available within the GI Pricing and Profitability team. As an Actuarial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing team expertise and guiding skilled actuaries to meet business demands. Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Manager is expected to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. RESPONSIBILITIES Manager, Usage Based Insurance (UBI) Pricing Monitor driving patterns and competitive trends of UBI program, ensuring our strategy stays ahead of the curve Lead the development and continuous improvement of the UBI pricing strategy Research and champion innovative ways to leverage UBI data to support business strategies Manager, Pricing Optimization Design and oversee implementation of pricing optimization strategies across personal lines Guide the development and application of advanced optimization techniques to recommend premium adjustments Continuously monitor and refine performance of deployed strategies to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness Manager, Financial Performance Guide the development and implementation of a financial projection framework for pricing changes Establish collaboration with Finance and Corporate Actuarial teams to track and monitor actual financial performance against projections Continuously improve financial tracking processes Manager, Risk Sharing Pool (RSP) Strategy and Performance Centralize, streamline and optimize RSP cession strategy at a national level Establish and achieve financial objectives for each pool Monitor and analyze cession results and pool performance to ensure optimal outcomes JOB REQUIREMENTS University degree in Actuarial Science or related field 8+ years of related experience Advanced Analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Autonomous and resilient; shows initiative and creativity in their work PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience with predictive modeling Prior people management experience FCIA/FCAS or at least 7+ actuarial exams Who We Are As part of TD Bank Group, one of Canada's largest financial institutions, at TD Insurance, we care for Canadian families, making it easy to get the best advice, protection, and support in their moments of need, always.
