Security Supervisor

New Westminster,BC Casino/Bingo Casino Floor Full-Time (Regular) Application Deadline (Internal Applicants Only): 01/20/2026 In this key role, you will be an integral part of the security team, ensuring Gateway’s staff, property, company assets and valued guests are secure and protected at all times. You will also deliver a high level of customer service, staff support, and provide accurate reports. The Security Supervisor maintains a presence, patrols gaming and guest activity; conducts door duty and crowd control, and escorts guests and employees as required. You will perform a number of varying duties throughout your shift, including controlling access to the facility and sensitive areas, escorting visitors, assisting departments, lost and found, monitoring alarm panels, controlling and issuing keys, writing reports, maintaining a daily log and conducting investigations. You may also be required to provide first aid and medical attention. Provides First Aid to guests and employees. Ability to carry up to 25 lbs and use/learn techniques to preserve a safe environment. Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, kneel, run, bend and jump. Facilitates the recruitment process by creating posts, checking references and hiring. Supports management to ensure familiarity and application of human resources practices, programs, policies and regulations. Assists in maintaining accurate employee data records and provides direction to employees on the administration of the company benefits plan. Researches and compiles human resources statistics and provides recommendations. Responds to employee and management inquiries. Supports the implementation of Human Resource programs and initiatives in performance management, rewards and recognition, occupational health and safety, career planning and development. Retains a thorough and updated knowledge of company and BCLC policies, procedures, and regulations for casino operations. What You Bring A professional and welcoming energy for guests and your team. Completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training/exam within 90 days of start (BC). ProServe, ProTect, and Deal Us Security Staff Training Program available (In Alberta).
