Become a production supervisor for one of Canada's fastest growing beverage brands


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Line Supervisor to oversee the operation of our hot fill beverage production line. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the production process including the batching of ingredients, running the filling equipment, and maintenance and cleaning of the plant. Efficiency, quality, and safety are the top priorities for this role. This role requires great care and attention to detail as you will be working with very sensitive and expensive equipment.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee batching of ingredients and beverage preparation
  • Operate and maintain filling equipment
  • Perform clean in place procedures on the production equipment
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff
  • Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Monitor production processes and equipment to identify and address any issues or inefficiencies promptly.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Train and mentor production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the production line to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operation of the production line.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.


Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 3 years experience working on a beverage or food production line, brewery, or manufacturing plant
  • Knowledge of hotfill beverage production processes and equipment highly desirable
  • Knowledge in flexible packaging and pouch packaging highly desirable
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., GFSI standards) and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, such as Microsoft Office and production management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Hours (Negotiable):  We are primarily seeking for full time hours, Monday-Friday 1030am-7pm


Salary: From $26-$30.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time


Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
