Full-Stack Engineer – AI Gaming Tech Startup

Location: Montreal, Canada (hybrid) • Employment type: Full-time • Compensation: Competitive salary and equity. Responsibilities Design and develop full-stack web applications to track, monitor, and manage AI workloads and algorithms inference in real time. Collaborate with researchers and product owner to translate complex operational needs into intuitive UIs and scalable backends. Build data visualization tools to provide insights into KPI metrics, scheduling and resource allocation. Ensure system security, reliability, and scalability across infrastructure. Participate in all aspects of software development activities including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, integration testing and bug fixing. Be a key technical voice in the company, helping shape product roadmap and culture. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in STEM discipline and 5+ years of professional experience. Significant experience in full-stack development, with expertise in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend technologies (Python, Go, .NET or Node.js). Proven experience developing and delivering user-centric web applications as part of a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. A strong grasp of system architecture, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure. Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native application deployment. Bonus Points Understand AI/ML workload scheduling and orchestration challenges. Have experience or passion for gaming, game development pipelines (e.g. Unity, Unreal), or AI/ML tools. Have experience with real-time data processing, visualization libraries, and observability tooling.
