Reporting to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and a member of Guelph's senior administration, the Dean of CCMPS will provide strategic direction, academic planning leadership, and administrative oversight to achieve the highest possible standards in teaching, research, and service. The Dean will lead and empower the College's academic units to develop strategic identities and pursue opportunities that build on their complimentary strengths. The Dean, College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences (CCMPS) is responsible for the overall management of the College, providing strategic and effective leadership for students, faculty, the University and the college community. The new Dean will be an accomplished teacher and researcher, an experienced administrator, an exceptional communicator, and an enthusiastic promoter of the value of education in the sciences within Guelph and beyond.
