Technical Sales

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES – LIST IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE ALL DUTIES OF THIS POSITION:

Preparing Quotations, Collecting information from field, coordination with various sales people and agents all over the world.
Draw Wear Measurements, attending installations at mine sites if needed.
Occasional travel within Canada and Overseas if needed for sales support
Maintain correspondence with field sales teams, agents and customers.
Ensure the requirements of ISO 9001 and Polycorp's QMS are conformed with.
All other duties as required

SKILLS REQUIRED – COMPUTER PROGRAMS OR OTHER SKILLS:

Written communication skills to maintain customer files, call reports and to maintain customer relations.
Interpersonal skills both written and verbal for interacting with customers regarding their specific product requirements and future product needs. As well must be able to effectively communicate with own staff in order to relay information about sales and shipments.
Analytical skills to assess problems discovered in the field, which require either immediate solutions or input from other key personnel at head office.
Creative skills to problem solve by reference either to various product manuals that are available or previous working experience.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Degree/Diploma from Mechanical discipline shall be preferred.
Working knowledge of Auto CAD is necessary, Knowledge of Solid works or inventor will be an added advantage.
