THIS IS A 1-YEAR CONTRACT ROLE Job Summary As a Cyber Security Analyst at Woodbine Entertainment, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the maturity of our cyber security program and supporting the organization’s strategic growth. The position is designed for a professional with at least three to five years of experience in cyber security, who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about safeguarding organizations and enabling secure innovation. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks, implementing and maintaining robust security controls, and collaborating across departments to ensure best practices are embedded into our infrastructure and operations. Your work will directly support Woodbine’s evolving technology landscape—including AI governance, 24/7 monitoring initiatives, and compliance with industry standards such as PCI—while helping us build a resilient and proactive security posture. Responsibilities Assess risks, identify security gaps, and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain and improve security controls and policies. Collaborate across departments to manage access and infrastructure securely. Provide on‑call support for security incidents. Support improving cybersecurity awareness throughout Woodbine Entertainment. Create and maintain documentation. Provision access to data and systems appropriately while minimizing impact and risk exposure to the business. Coach and mentor colleagues to further develop organizational cybersecurity capabilities. Collaborate with IT and compliance teams on risk mitigation. Prepare detailed reports on incidents and security posture. Qualifications College diploma or university degree in computer science or cyber security and 3–5 years of equivalent work experience with a focus on cyber security. CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CISSP and any GIAC certification or similar certification are desirable. Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR is preferred.
