In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is seeking a reliable and caring PSW to support a senior client at Yonge & St. Clair. This role emphasizes empathy, companionship, and assistance, enhancing the client's comfort and dignity. Your main responsibilities will include accompanying the client on walks and engaging in meaningful conversations to promote well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship for a male client with cognitive delays
• Accompany client on walks in the neighborhood
• Engage in meaningful conversations and provide reassurance
• Promote dignity, comfort, and independence
Requirements:
• PSW Certificate is required
• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
• CPR and First Aid Certification required
• Training in Gentle Persuasive Approaches preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
