(HALO) is a leading provider of real-time, remote patient monitoring solutions, dedicated to enhancing patient safety and clinical efficiency in healthcare facilities. Our innovative technology enables live streaming of patients through a secure, on-premises network, allowing healthcare providers to deliver proactive, continuous observation and intervention when needed. We partner with hospitals, long- term care facilities, and other healthcare institutions to provide advanced remote monitoring services that improve patient outcomes, reduce adverse events, and optimize operational efficiency. Our headquarters are located at 101 College Street, Toronto, Ontario. Role Overview As a Senior Network Engineer, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our on-premises network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for our remote patient monitoring system. You will play a key role in managing data traffic, reducing latency for video feeds, and implementing best practices for network security and compliance with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA). Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain network architecture, including data centers, WAN, LAN, and security zones. Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls). Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, providing technical support. Implement and maintain network security measures like firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Monitor network usage, identify bottlenecks, for future capacity needs. Lead network upgrade projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Maintain detailed documentation and generate reports on network performance. Utilize AWS Terraform to automate network and security configurations. Perform penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. Optimize network performance with redundancy and failover mechanisms. Qualifications & SkillsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 5+ years of experience managing on-premise network infrastructure. Expertise in configuring and managing firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto). Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and security protocols (IPSec, SSL, VPNs). Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, etc.). Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HIPAA, PHIPA). Preferred: Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or CISSP. Experience in healthcare or telehealth environments. Familiarity with cloud-hybrid architectures (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN. Experience implementing Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA). Why Join Us?
