Produce nutritious meals overnight in Markham using food safety, packaging, labelling, and quality-control skills. The assigned shift runs from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Wholesome Kids Catering seeks a Production Associate for its high-volume food manufacturing and commissary kitchen environment. You will assemble, portion, weigh, package, label, stage, and distribute meals and snacks. The work supports accurate production and safe products for childcare centres and schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble meals and snacks according to production schedules and recipes
- Count, portion, weigh, label, and package products accurately
- Verify orders, packaging, route information, and production quantities
- Stage completed products for shipping according to delivery timelines
- Maintain production records, temperature logs, and required checklists
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food manufacturing, catering, kitchen, packaging, or production experience considered an asset
- Basic food safety and sanitation understanding preferred
- Ability to follow production sheets, labels, and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand extensively
