Overview:

Our client seeks a Programmer Analyst to develop and maintain information infrastructure. This role involves analyzing business processes and information requirements, devising business solutions, and guiding their implementation.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business information requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Advise users on information acquisition methods.
  • Develop ad-hoc solutions utilizing problem-solving and development skills.
  • Identify and propose solutions for improving business processes and information sources.
  • Minimize information duplication and fragmentation within the organization's information systems framework.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business solutions, including analyzing requirements, creating technical artifacts, programming, testing, and user reviews.
  • Incorporate knowledge of business processes into solutions development.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement third-party business solutions.
  • Provide post-implementation user support and training.
  • Test all new business solutions to ensure suitability and meet business requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT systems and business applications.
  • Provide second and third-level support; investigate and troubleshoot incidents.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Commitment to building strong work relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Experience with e-commerce and marketing platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud.
  • Technical skills related to ERPs and retail software platforms.
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Architecture and Design (OOAD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET, Web API, C#, XML, JSON, JavaScript.
  • Scripting knowledge, such as PowerShell.
  • Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Database and Services (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) / T-SQL and DB2.
  • Understanding of database design principles and data modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with the full web technology stack.
  • Experience with mobile technologies, Swift is an asset.
  • Experience with integrations to social platforms, such as Facebook and Google, is an asset.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
