FRTB Project Manager

FRTB PM Must have markets delivery and project experience across large scale projects Must have strong understanding of FX Delta/ FX Risk Must have FRTB experience Must have markets product experience Looking for 10 years experience in front to back projects (not necessarily FRTB) FRTB advantageous (not 10 years experience exclusively in FRTB) Avoiding cv less than 2 years, when there is a lot of this on one CV suggests it's more than projects changing direction/funding being pulled etc. Hence would want to avoid these sorts of CVs coming through. Manager wants to see significant PM experience. Candidates interviewed so far lack coherency and clarity in questions being asked. Candidates cannot demonstrate front to back business/markets project experience The role will be part of a core central Program Management Team charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams whilst imparting subject matter expertise and know-how. The candidate must be an individual experienced in project management and with sufficient subject matter expertise in Markets products and business lines to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable. Primary Responsibilities: • Transformation / change management / project experience with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives to address regulatory, audit, risk and control and / or risk management issues • Front to back working knowledge of Markets business and products and / or regulatory capital, Market Risk and Finance (Product Control) • Drive analysis, requirements gathering and design forums as required • Management of test phases, making use of tools including JIRA • Ability to influence and build collaborative relationships across Global Markets front-to-back stakeholders, e.g., trading desk, finance, operations, technology, risk management • Assist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or level • Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teams • Identify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMs • Engage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they arise • Produce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committees • Build strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of programs • Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL and Excel is a plus Key Skills Required: • Experience with FRTB specifically around FX Delta and FX Risk management • Experience with trading, risk and P&L flows • Strong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essential • Has significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation • Significant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiatives • Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholders • A solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performance • Ability to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectives • Thought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organization • Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capability • Minimum of 10 years of project management experience • Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience Key Skills Preferred: • Experience in Markets, Risk and Regulatory related projects/programs • Bachelor's/University degree in relevant fields, Master's degree preferred • Project Management certifications e.g. PMP or equivalent a strong plus
