We are looking for a Site superintendent with experience on new build commercial buildings with projects values over $10 M. To be eligible for this role, you are experienced with no less than 3 commercial projects completed as a lead or assistant Superintendent, have proven ability to manage sub trades and are strong with driving a schedule to achieve project milestones. Reporting to the Manager of Construction, this role will have autonomy on the project site and provide progress updates and work through any potential challenges that arise. COMPENSATION RANGE: $105,000.00 – $130,000.00 LOCATION: Barrie/Peterborough area Requirements Skills and Responsibilities Work with preconstruction services and provide support including development of site logistics, project schedule and phasing, design and constructability review and budget development. Manage site staff allocation, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, field cost control and safety. Coordinate scopes of work with sub-contractors. Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule. Monitor compliance with company and site safety programs and documents, and ensures corrective measures are implemented. Take an active role in the hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel. Work in conjunction with the project manager, manage the project schedule specifically as pertains to production. Create a 3 week look ahead for all site staff to understand project progress and staging. Qualifications 5+ years of construction experience and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisor capacity role. Proficiency in structural concrete, steel and timber frame construction. Proven ability to manage project values $1M - 25M. Proven ability to lead mid-sized teams. Knowledge of construction engineering and design. Knowledge of standard construction software and management processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
