Pay Range: CAD$75 - CAD$80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills- CICS, Systems Programming, Mainframe.
- Solid understanding of CICS Transaction Server system internals.
- understanding of Storage protection, Transaction isolation, and RENTPGM protection
- Can independently complete building, configuring, and upgrading CICS Transaction Server regions
- Demonstrated experience with Inter-region communication methods such as MRO and ISC
- Demonstrated experience with installing and supporting vendor products that run within CICS.
- Demonstrated experience with restoring service and problem resolution through troubleshooting and corrective/preventive actions.
- Have managed activities involving the coordination of multiple technical resources and groups.
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and still maintain deadlines and milestones.
- Self-starter having the ability to work independently and also as a team player
- Experienced with the standard MVS tools: TSO/ISPF, JCL, IBM Utilities, VSAM Utilities, SDSF, etc.
- Have exposure to security packages (ACF2, RACF, and/or Top Secret)
- Demonstrated experience with Disaster Recovery (backup and restore, DR plan creation and maintenance)
- IBM Assembler language familiarity enough to be able to look at code and dumps and work/understand Exits
- 24 x 7 on-call support rotation.
