SAP Integrations Architect RFP: 25-159 Level: MP5 Number of Vacancies: 2 Duration: 24 Months Hours of Work: 40 hours/week Location: 700 University Ave, Toronto & 1908 Colonel Sam Drive, Oshawa Work Mode : (Hybrid – 2 days remote) Resume Due Date: Friday, December 12, 2025 (5:00 PM EST) Job Overview As an SAP Integrations Architect , you will design, implement, and optimize integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP landscapes. Leveraging industry-leading frameworks and best practices, you will ensure seamless, secure, and scalable integration of business processes and data flows supporting the Strategic Transformation Roadmap (STR) . This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, utility experts, and ERP teams to deliver high-impact, future-ready integration solutions. Key Responsibilities Enterprise & Technical Architecture (TOGAF/COBIT/SAP Activate/Integration): Lead design and governance of SAP integration architecture across business, application, data, and technology domains. Architect and implement integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh), Process Orchestration , and other middleware tools. Define and govern integration patterns, messaging standards, and API strategies ensuring compliance with data governance and security. Oversee integration of SAP S/4HANA , ECC, and third-party systems (on-premise, cloud, hybrid). Apply SAP Activate , agile methodologies, and best practices to accelerate delivery. Utilize LeanIX for enterprise architecture and Signavio for business process modeling. Solution Design & Delivery: Translate business requirements into robust, scalable integration solutions. Lead solution design, prototyping, integration, testing, and deployment. Provide guidance on integration security, compliance, and SAP best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with minimal business disruption. Project Management & Agile Delivery: Collaborate with project managers, scrum masters, and cross-functional teams. Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing environment. Support agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. Continuous Learning & Thought Leadership: Stay current with SAP integration innovations and industry trends. Share best practices and lessons learned within OPG and SAP community. Demonstrate initiative in identifying opportunities and solving complex problems. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. 8+ years in SAP architecture/integration, including 3+ years with SAP Integration Suite or similar platforms. Proven experience integrating SAP S/4HANA , ECC, and third-party systems. Strong knowledge of TOGAF , COBIT , SAP Activate , and agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban). Expertise in API management, messaging protocols, security standards, and hybrid integration. Familiarity with LeanIX , Signavio , and architecture/process modeling tools. SAP Integration certification(s) and additional certifications in TOGAF, COBIT, or agile frameworks are highly desirable. Key Competencies SAP integration architecture and middleware expertise. Enterprise and technical architectural thinking. Mastery of TOGAF, SAP Activate, and related frameworks. Process integration and optimization mindset. Strategic planning and agile delivery skills. Governance, risk, and compliance awareness. Continuous learning and thought leadership.
