ABOUT THE COMPANY:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Narrative Designer to join a leading remote game studio, known for working on exciting games that you grew up wanting to play

As the Lead Narrative Designer, you will oversee a skilled team of writers and narrative designers, bringing a lively cast of characters and their quests and adventures to life

Remote employees must reside in Quebec or Ontario.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and guide a team of writers and narrative designers, offering leadership and constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
  • Work closely with the Design Director to align game design with the narrative, and with the Art Director to develop characters and the game world, ensuring a unified player experience.
  • Craft and refine character dialogue, barks, objective text, lore, and other narrative elements.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure smooth technical integration of narrative tools and processes.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in game writing.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of writers and narrative designers.
  • Expertise in creative writing, plot development, and crafting dialogue.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple story arcs and their interconnections.


Desired Skills:

  • A keen interest in RPG Games
