What You’ll Be Doing As the Director, Cloud Technology Delivery, you’ll manage delivery of a large, complex portfolio of Cloud IT projects enterprise‑wide. Reporting to the Senior Director, Cloud Program Delivery and working in a matrix environment, you will collaborate with peers across streams to support the successful delivery of all projects in the portfolio. This is a hands‑on IT delivery management role. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of 10 to 12 IT Project Managers and IT Project Coordinators. How You’ll Succeed Delivery and Execution: Provide oversight, direction and guidance to the Project Management team to deliver initiatives on time and on budget. Ensure integrated delivery schedules, manage portfolio risks and issues, chair weekly portfolio review meetings, and work with cross‑functional teams to simplify delivery of complex programs. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain stakeholder, client, senior and executive management relationships. Participate in Executive Steering Committees and manage senior executives’ delivery expectations. People Management: Coach, develop and mentor a team of full‑time employees and contingent resources, recruit technical project management professionals, and drive performance through fair feedback and obstacle removal. Who You Are You can demonstrate 8‑10 years of hands‑on IT delivery/project management experience as an IT Director, or in a similar role, with a track record of high‑visibility large IT project and program management for a matrix organization of similar size. You are an experienced and versatile technologist with in‑depth knowledge of project management tools and techniques and a solid understanding of project financials. You have 5+ years of people‑management experience of a mid‑size team (10‑20 members). You communicate effectively, both written and oral, and can distill complex technical information to senior/executive stakeholders. Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Engineering, or relevant work experience. Experience in financial services, technology infrastructure or application development delivery is a differentiator. PMP designation is an asset.
