Our FKC-Lake Shore division provides design/build/install services for innovative Hoisting and Vertical Conveyance Systems. Our goal is to be the industry’s best source, and best value, for complete turn‑key construction, engineering and design‑build services and related products. Across North America, notable projects include: the Purple Line Extensions section 3 in Los Angeles, Water Tunnel number 3 in New York City, Eagle Mountain Gas Pipeline and Kemano T2 tunneling projects in British Columbia, Canada, the Inter‑Quarry Tunnel in Leesburg, VA and the Century Mine in Volga, WV. Responsibilities Assist with assigned project under direction of the Project Manager/Project Executive Assist with project budgets and minimize exposure and risk on projects Ensure procurement and proposal development activities move according to schedule Communicate effectively with the sub‑contractors and vendors responsible for completing various phases of work Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in projects, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub‑contractors Monitor/report the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with clients and/or consultant team Maintain strict adherence to quality and safety standards Integrate new technology and mining methods at existing projects to improve production Assist with preparation of post‑bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control Actively participate in production tracking and post‑job analysis Requirements A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar 10+ years of experience with Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations, specifically EPB & Mixshield TBMs. Hands‑on experience with Herrenknecht equipment 5 or more years’ experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in heavy civil, mining, or a related area Previous experience with project management, field engineering, estimating, and/or project scheduling Ability and willingness to work on construction sites (mines and tunnels) within an underground environment OSHA 30, MSHA Instructor and Underground Mine Examiner Certifications are all preferred Frontier-Kemper builds extraordinary projects, and we need exceptional talent.
