You will need a Red Seal Certification and at least three years of industry experience to fulfill this role. Collaborate with journeymen and apprentices, read and follow blueprints, and ensure project integrity through compliance with safety policies. This is an ideal role for those who are detail-oriented and value teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints and welding process specifications
• Secure parts and assemblies based on required layouts
• Perform welding tasks using electric and gas equipment
• Operate flame-cutting tools safely and accurately
• Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Certification
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the welding field
• Skilled in SMAW, MCAW, GMAW, and GTAW
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
