Sort, wash, dry, and distribute linens as a Laundry Aide in a full time or part time position. Operate laundry equipment and maintain sanitary rooms.
This Laundry Aide position provides laundry services by cleaning and distributing linens to clients. Duties include following approved procedures, inspecting linen condition, and transporting supplies. Experience in housekeeping or laundry, or equivalent training and experience, is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, and dry linens following approved procedures
- Fold, count, and stack linens correctly
- Collect soiled and redistribute clean linens
- Transport linens and supplies to appropriate areas
- Maintain clean, orderly, sanitary laundry rooms
Requirements:
- Housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Operate washers, dryers, linen presses, and labelers
- Physically able to carry out position duties
