Director of Engineering

Our client in the fintech space is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead core technical enablement functions including Platform Engineering, Security Engineering, and Data Science / AI. Location: Remote Responsibilities Lead and scale platform, security, and data/AI engineering teams through strong technical and people leadership Define and execute multi-year technical strategy aligned with business and product goals Own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, reliability, observability, and developer enablement Establish and maintain security engineering practices including compliance, risk management, and incident readiness Drive data platform and AI/ML capabilities to enable analytics, insights, and intelligent product features Partner with Product, Engineering, and GTM leaders to align delivery with business priorities Build a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement Requirements 15+ years of software engineering experience in modern SaaS environments 5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles (Director / Senior Manager level) Strong background in platform or infrastructure engineering, with exposure to security and/or data systems Experience operating at scale in cloud-native, distributed architectures Proven ability to lead multiple teams and influence executive-level stakeholders Strong communication skills and comfort operating in fast-growth environments Nice to Have Experience with AI/ML platforms or data science teams Background in B2B SaaS, fintech, procurement, or enterprise platforms Experience leading remote or distributed teams Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Resonaite by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
